China's Innovative Breakthrough: Charging And Demagnetizing Technology For Large Permanent Magnet Motors Only Takes 100 Milliseconds, Revolutionizing Efficiency!

Permanent magnet motors play a central role in many fields such as new energy and electric vehicles. Their magnetic poles are composed of rare earth permanent magnets, and these permanent magnets are assembled from magnetic steel. The traditional magnetization process makes the assembly process difficult due to the strong repulsive force between magnets. It is not only inefficient but also poses safety risks.

After more than ten years of in-depth research, Professor Li Liang's team successfully developed the "non-magnetic assembly-overall magnetization" technology, which completely changed the traditional process flow. The new technology first assembles in a non-magnetic state and then performs overall magnetization, thereby eliminating the interference of magnetic field forces on the manufacturing process.

Compared with traditional heating demagnetization technology, the team's in-situ charging and demagnetizing technology only takes more than 100 milliseconds to complete the charging and demagnetizing process, and the energy consumption is greatly reduced, only one percent of traditional technology. The application of this technology not only increases manufacturing efficiency by 8-10 times, but also significantly improves the dynamic balance adjustment accuracy of the motor rotor, ensuring magnetic pole performance and the overall electromechanical performance of the motor.

In response to the disassembly problems faced by large permanent magnet equipment in operation, maintenance and decommissioning recycling, Professor Li Liang's team also proposed innovative solutions. The traditional heating demagnetization method not only consumes high energy and causes serious pollution, but also has a high scrap rate. The AC demagnetization technology adopted by the team can demagnetize the entire machine in a very short time, and all costs are significantly reduced.

The successful application of this technology not only brings revolutionary changes to the manufacturing and maintenance of wind turbines, but also provides new possibilities for realizing green and efficient energy utilization.
