With the FANUC RMI connector, FANUC Deutschland GmbH supports the seamless integration of robotics into the ctrlX CORE control environment. Connected FANUC robots can be controlled directly and conveniently via the ctrlX data layer of ctrlX AUTOMATION.

Bosch Rexroth offers automation solutions for processes that were difficult to automate in the past. With the help of artificial intelligence technology, through advanced visual perception and robot planning algorithms, 3D cameras can be used to identify target objects and obstacles in complex environments without the need for object models, and can independently plan the robot's motion path, helping users quickly complete intelligent, stable and dexterous object grasping solutions without expert experience. The Smart Flex Effector compensation module provides industrial robots with a tactile sensation similar to that of a human hand. The module combines a sensor system with the ability to operate independently in six degrees of freedom to increase the accuracy of industrial robots, thus opening up completely new possibilities for automation and for which it has been awarded the Hermes International Technology Award 2023. The compensating elements are easy to retrofit and can be integrated into existing automation systems.

As an open system solution, the module can be seamlessly integrated into higher-level control systems. The positioning software ROKIT Locator automatically and quickly generates a map of the surrounding environment and determines the vehicle's position in real time, without the need for structural adjustments. In conjunction with the automation toolkit ctrlX AUTOMATION, all robot tasks previously distributed in PC, PLC and safety control systems can be combined on the ctrlX CORE control platform, thus reducing the number of components and the space required.
Automation kit for linear axes
Bosch Rexroth has developed a new automation package for its linear axes and electromechanical cylinders, thus meeting the market requirements for simple engineering and fast commissioning. Servo motors, drive controllers, power filters, and wiring complement the persistent mechanical system. The pre-installed software comes with a commissioning wizard, automatic parameterizers for the drive controller, and a module for easy graphical programming of motion. Smart Function Kits, a predefined suite of intelligent functions for handling as well as stamping and dispensing tasks, further speed up commissioning.
