On June 5th, DJI announced that it had completed its first high-altitude civilian drone transportation test on the Nepalese side of Mount Everest. The test results show that the DJI FlyCart30 carrier drone can fly at an altitude of up to 6191.8 meters in the Mount Everest area, and can stably carry a load of 15 kilograms at an altitude of 6000 meters. It is worth mentioning that this test is not only a major breakthrough in civil drone transportation technology, but also the world's first round trip transportation test of civil transport drones on an altitude range of 5300 to 6000 meters.

I believe that with the rapid development of drone technology, transportation in high-altitude areas will also become normalized, and it will bring new solutions for rescue in high-altitude areas.

Drones are the leading industry in low altitude economy, with extensive application scenarios in logistics transportation, emergency rescue, power inspection, agriculture and forestry plant protection, forest protection, meteorological observation, and other industries. According to the disclosure of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, as of the end of 2023, there were over 2300 civil drone development enterprises in China, with over 1000 types of drone products in mass production; In 2023, China delivered over 3.17 million civilian drones, and the output value of the general aviation manufacturing industry exceeded 51 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of nearly 60%.

At present, against the backdrop of increasing demand for low altitude express logistics, emergency rescue, and other services, the annual growth rate of unmanned aerial vehicles in China has exceeded 20%, becoming a new growth point for the national economy.

On January 1, 2024, the Provisional Regulations on the Flight Management of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles were officially implemented, marking a new stage of standardized development for China's unmanned aerial vehicle industry with a legal basis.

In addition, since the beginning of this year, in order to promote the high-quality development of the low altitude economy mainly based on the drone industry, multiple provinces and cities have successively issued guidance opinions, singing loudly to expand and strengthen the low altitude economy manufacturing industry!

Recently, Chongqing released the "Action Plan for Accelerating the Construction of Western International Postal and Express Hub", which clearly stated that it will promote the construction of "express delivery+air economy"; Strive to pilot the application of industry intelligence projects in Chongqing, and promote the commercial application of drones and unmanned vehicles in the postal and express delivery industry in 1-2 districts and counties.

The "Several Measures to Support High Quality Development of Low Altitude Economy" recently issued by the People's Government of Wuhan City mentions: encouraging enterprises to carry out infrastructure construction related to low altitude economy, and providing subsidies to enterprises that build and operate low altitude economy related infrastructure such as unmanned aerial vehicle intelligent takeoff and landing nests, medium and large unmanned aerial vehicle takeoff and landing fields, eVTOL takeoff and landing fields, helicopter takeoff and landing platforms, etc. in Wuhan; For enterprises that independently develop general aircraft products (including medium and large unmanned aerial vehicles) and obtain the national general aircraft model certificate and production license for the first time, a one-time reward of 2 million yuan will be given. At the same time, it also supports enterprises to carry out skill training for positions such as drone pilots and drone surveying and mapping operators, as well as new apprenticeship training, and provides training subsidies of 500 to 8000 yuan per employee according to regulations.

The "low altitude economy" is very hot, and as a new industry track for the development of national cohesion, whether it is manned drones or payload drones, they are all in full swing. According to predictions from relevant institutions, it is expected that the market size of China's low altitude economy, mainly composed of drones, will reach 1.5 trillion yuan by 2025, and the industry is expected to reach 3.5 trillion yuan by 2035.
