Jiang Lei, chief scientist of the National and Local Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, told reporters that China is expected to produce 15,000 humanoid robots this year and put them into various industries, with a development rate exceeding that of new energy vehicles. The industry generally believes that 2025 will be the first year of mass production of humanoid robots.

In addition, manufacturing industries such as automobiles are also key application areas for humanoid robots. China Merchants Securities Research Report believes that the application of humanoid robots in car factories, home factories and other scenarios is gradually common, and actions such as entering the factory to "work" are expected to further enhance and improve the robot's ability in motion control, perception, AI algorithm and hardware combination.

 

The accelerated exploration of application scenarios by downstream terminal enterprises has also pulled upstream enterprises in the industrial chain to further enter the humanoid robot track.

 

For example, Chaojie Fastening System (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. is an auto parts manufacturer, mainly engaged in high-strength precision fasteners and special-shaped connectors, etc., and has established a special team for humanoid robot business to research and develop fastening connectors related to humanoid robots, and actively explore the market and develop customers. On May 7, in response to investors' questions, the company said that it has obtained small batch sample orders from some customers such as Zhiyuan Robot.

 

On May 12, Baotou Instar Rare Magnetic New Materials Co., Ltd. said on the investor interactive platform that the company has sent samples to customers of humanoid robot motors.

 

Overall, at present, the humanoid robot industry is still in the early stage of commercialization. According to the research report of China Securities Securities, although the landing scenarios of humanoid robots are becoming more and more diversified, most of the current industrial chain companies are in the early stage of obtaining small batch orders or sending samples, and they still need to have continuous sales data verification.
