ABB and Baowu Clean Energy are long-term partners and have in-depth cooperation in the fields of industrial gases and new energy power generation. Excellent cooperation results have been achieved in projects such as intelligent gas tank filling, solar thermal power generation and unit control.
ABB's new process automation solution based on Ethernet-APL (Ethernet Advanced Physical Layer) technology will help Baowu Clean Energy significantly improve the visibility of on-site equipment data by improving the rate and accuracy of data transmission, and provide a data basis for the implementation of equipment status monitoring and asset performance management. In addition, the improvement of data visibility will also help to timely understand the status of the production process and energy consumption status, thereby helping Baowu Clean Energy to improve the process flow, make correct decisions based on data, further improve the level of intelligence, improve unmanned management, thereby improving production efficiency and optimizing energy management.
The two parties will explore the application of Ethernet-APL technology in green hydrogen production and green methanol projects.
