ABB Robotics and Agilent Technologies, a global leader in analytical and laboratory technology software, recently signed a partnership agreement to develop laboratory automation solutions. Through the partnership, ABB and Agilent will integrate their technological strengths to empower organizations in industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, energy and food and beverage to accelerate processes such as research and development and quality control, and to drive the transformation of laboratory operations.

In order to accelerate product development and launch while meeting strict quality requirements, laboratories are facing increasing pressure.
