Flexspline: The flexspline is a cup-shaped, thin-walled, elastic metal part with external teeth located on the outer edge of its open end. The flexspline is typically connected to the output shaft, serving as the key element that transmits motion and torque from the wave generator to the circular spline.

 

Wave Generator:The wave generator consists of an elliptical cam and a flexible bearing. It is usually connected to the input shaft of the system. The inner ring of the flexible bearing is mounted on the elliptical cam, while the outer ring can elastically form into an elliptical shape through the rolling motion of the balls inside the bearing.
