One-Step Manufacturing: Utilizing Live Tooling capabilities, we can drill cross-holes, mill flat surfaces, and tap threads on the side of the part while it is still on the lathe.
Benefit: This eliminates the need for a second fixture in a milling machine, significantly reducing cumulative errors and production costs.

Q: What is the difference between your Turning and Milling services?

A: Turning rotates the workpiece against a stationary tool, ideal for cylindrical parts like shafts, pins, and spacers. Milling rotates the tool against a stationary workpiece, ideal for blocky, flat, or complex 3D shapes. We offer both, and often combine them for complex parts.

Q: Can you do "Swiss Turning" or micro-turning?

A: We have high-precision lathes capable of handling small diameter parts with tight tolerances. Please send us your drawing to confirm if it fits our specific machine capacity.

Q: I need a shaft with a keyway and a side hole. Can you do this?

A: Yes. We use Mill-Turn techniques (Live Tooling) to machine these features in the same setup as the turning operation. This ensures the keyway and hole are perfectly aligned with the shaft axis.
My turned part needs to be hardened. Can you help?
Yes. We handle heat treatment (carburizing, nitriding, induction hardening) and can perform post-heat-treat grinding to ensure the final dimensions are accurate after the material hardens.

Q: What is the maximum precision for turned parts?

A: For direct CNC turning, we hold ±0.005mm. For parts requiring extreme precision (like bearing journals), we use precision grinding to achieve ±0.002mm.
