Q: Can the input shaft speed exceed 800 RPM? What should be noted when using it at high speed?

A: Its rated speed range is 5~800 RPM, and the actual speed is affected by the load (the larger the load, the lower the recommended speed).
If you need to run at more than 800 RPM, you must inform the manufacturer in advance, and the engineer will make adaptation adjustments according to the specific load parameters (such as strengthening the lubrication system and optimizing dynamic balance) to avoid excessive wear.

Q: What are the risks of radial/axial loads exceeding the rated value (330kgf/420kgf)?

A: A radial load exceeding 330kgf or an axial load exceeding 420kgf will cause excessive wear on the roller and cam meshing surface, which may cause a decrease in indexing accuracy in the short term (exceeding ±30 arc seconds) and shorten the equipment life in the long term (from the conventional 8000 hours to less than 5000 hours).
It is recommended to reserve 20% load redundancy (that is, the actual load ≤ 80% of the rated value).

Q: Does selecting different types of mounting surfaces from VW 1-6 affect performance?

A: No impact. 83DS supports mounting on any surface of VW 1-6. The design has been optimized to offset the stress of different mounting directions (such as vertical mounting, inclined mounting, etc.) to ensure that the indexing accuracy is not affected by the mounting angle.

Q: What type of grease is needed for daily lubrication? How often?

A: It is recommended to use high-temperature and high-pressure lithium-based grease (NLGI grade 2, applicable temperature -20~120℃) or manufacturer-specified lubricant.
Lubrication frequency: Check before daily operation, replenish once every 1000 hours of continuous operation, and shorten to 500 hours in harsh environments (dust/high temperature).

Q: How to judge component wear? How long is the recommended inspection cycle?

A: The wear signals are the following three situations:
① Abnormal sound occurs during indexing (such as "stuttering sound" and "metal friction sound");
② Accuracy detection exceeds ±30 arc seconds;
③ Vibration increases significantly during load operation.
Inspection cycle: once a month under normal working conditions, once every 2 weeks under high load/high speed conditions, with special emphasis on checking the rollers, cam contact surfaces and fasteners.
