Dimensional Accuracy
Our standard precision turning and milling process holds ±0.005mm. For features requiring tighter control-such as motor shaft fit bores or bearing seats-we apply our precision grinding process, also at ±0.005mm with improved surface finish. For mating surfaces that require exceptional flatness, our ultra-precision machining reaches ±0.002mm. We will specify the appropriate process for each feature based on your drawing's GD&T callouts.
Material Handling
We routinely machine 7075-T6 and 6061-T6 aluminum for drone structural and motor components. If your drawing specifies a different alloy or non-aluminum material, discuss this with our engineering team at inquiry stage.
Profile and Contour Accuracy
Complex external profiles and internal slot geometries are processed on our Seibu Wire EDM M50B (Seibu M50B), which delivers profile accuracy of ±0.01mm.
Concentricity and Balancing
For rotating components such as motor bells and prop adapter caps, we control concentricity during CNC turning to ensure the finished part runs true on the motor shaft.

Send Your Drawing
Submit your CAD file (STEP/IGES/STP preferred) or a fully dimensioned PDF drawing via email or our inquiry form. Include your target material, required tolerance class, surface treatment, and estimated annual volume.
DFM Review and Quotation
Our engineering team will review the drawing for manufacturability within 24 hours and return a quotation within 48 hours. If any features require clarification or present production risk, we will flag them before quoting.
Prototype Production
After quotation acceptance, we produce a first-article prototype on the same equipment as production. Typical prototype lead time is 7–14 working days depending on part complexity.
Inspection and Approval
Prototype parts ship with a CMM inspection report against your drawing's critical dimensions. You test for fit, finish, and function. Feedback is incorporated before mass production begins.
Mass Production and Delivery
Approved parts move to production. Each batch includes dimensional inspection records. Export packaging is provided for all shipments, with DHL/FedEx for small volumes and sea freight for large orders.
FAQ
Q: Do you sell the drone motor cap shown as a standard product with fixed pricing?
A: No. The motor cap in the images is a capability demonstration sample. All orders are custom-manufactured to customer-supplied drawings. We do not maintain finished goods inventory of this or any other drone component.
Q: What drawing format do you require?
A: We prefer STEP or IGES 3D files for CNC programming. A fully dimensioned 2D PDF or DWG is required in all cases to confirm tolerances, surface finish callouts, and GD&T requirements.
Q: What is the minimum order quantity?
A: There is no MOQ for prototype orders. For mass production, MOQ depends on part complexity, material, and surface treatment requirements. This will be specified in your quotation.
Q: Can you produce drone motor housings in materials other than aluminum?
A: Yes. We machine steel, stainless steel, titanium, and engineering plastics. Aluminum (7075-T6 or 6061-T6) is the most common request for drone motor components due to the weight constraint, but if your design requires a different material, specify it in your inquiry and we will advise on feasibility and lead time.
Q: Do you offer NDA protection for customer drawings?
A: Yes. We sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) before reviewing customer drawings on request. Contact our sales team to arrange this before submitting files.
